Pick & Paint – A Creative Collaboration with Rachael Carr & Me
I'm so excited to share this special collaboration with local artist Rachael Carr.
A relaxed, creative experience here on the plot.
Arrive at 10am with a cherished vase or jug and to a fresh pot of coffee, ready to ease into the morning.
We’ll begin with a gentle wander through the flower plot, where you’ll pick your own stems. I’ll guide you on how to cut them properly, what to look for, and how to choose a beautiful mix of focal and filler flowers to create a balanced, abundant arrangement.
Once your flowers are gathered, we’ll head into the studio to hand-tie your own bouquet - a simple, timeless skill to take away with you.
Lunch will be provided - a simple vegetarian  dish with couscous and salad along with a refreshing glass of elderflower spritz.
Rachael will then guide you step by step in creating a beautiful acrylic painting of your floral display on canvas.
This is a calm, creative and relaxed session, perfect for all abilities, whether you’re a complete beginner or more experienced.
You’ll go home with not only your stunning flowers, but also your painting - the true keepsake of your day.
Everything is provided, so just come and enjoy a few peaceful, flower-filled hours of creativity.
