Welcome & Congratulations!

I offer seasonal, sustainable, garden inspired wedding flowers with a special emphasis on dahlias grown here on my micro flower farm in Tattenhall, Cheshire.

My flowers are grown without pesticides, and my arrangements use only reusable and recyclable mechanics – no floral foam here.

I work almost exclusively with my own home grown flowers, alongside those from trusted local growers.

My flowers are perfect for couples who appreciate the beauty and seasonality of British-grown flowers.

What I offer

A co-ordinating selection of flowers for small and intimate weddings.

There are a few options to choose from as outlined below:

  • Floristry service - let me supply your wedding arrangements: bouquets for brides and bridesmaids, buttonholes, table arrangements and other installations. Click the link for a price guide and to know what to expect - Wedding.pdf

  • DIY flower buckets - Come and choose your own flowers and then let me cut and condition your flowers ready for your wedding day. This option is perfect for hands on couples who want control over their colour palette and the pleasure of choosing their own flowers. Or alternatively let me know the theme and colour choices for your wedding and I can choose for you. Both options can be collected from the farm or delivered.

  • Mix n Match - Key pieces such as bouquets or button holes delivered alongside DIY buckets for friends and family to style your ceremony or venue.

My style

I create seasonal, garden inspired wedding flowers.

Flowers that look like they've just been picked from an English country garden:

Uncontrived, natural, undone, unfussy.

Most palettes can be accounted for and while I cannot guarantee specific varieties there will always be suggestions or alternatives available to deliver your look.

I am very happy for you to visit the plot to get a feel for the flowers or inspiration for your wedding day and a helpful chat.

Oh My Dahlias is a one woman small business becoming two for weddings and events when I’m joined by my wonderful friend and part time florist Emma. (We do like a chat and we’re full of beans)!

With this in mind, we only take on one wedding a week so please get in touch to find out if we are available.

Stem count

If you've made the decision to create your own wedding flowers then this is a helpful guide to assist you in your planning:

  • Bridal bouquet - 30 to 40 stems

  • Bridesmaid bouquet - 20 to 30 stems

  • Small jam jar size - 10 to 15 stems

  • Large jam jar size - 20 to 30 stems

  • Bud vases - 3 to 5 stems

  • Larger vase arrangements - up to 40/ 50 stems

It’s always a good idea to order a few stems more than you think you’ll need to account for mistakes or to help your arrangements/ bouquets look fuller.

After all, no one ever said ‘you can have too many flowers’!

Once you have an idea of how many stems you may need then get in touch to discuss your colour palette.

How much do flowers cost?

No one likes to talk about the cost and it’s a bit tricky as every wedding is bespoke.

It can be difficult for couples and their families to budget for something they’ve never had to organise or buy before and with that in mind I have created a menu/ price list for guidance and transparency.

We suggest collecting DIY buckets a couple of days before your wedding and for bespoke arrangements the day before your wedding. Delivery to one venue can also be made (delivery cost is added to the quote).

Vases/ bud vases provided are included in the price of your flowers.

I do not have a minimum spend - my availability is what is more important and that you like my style and my flowers.

How to book

If you would like to like to book us for your wedding then please get in touch to find out if your date is available.

We do ask for a 'save the date' deposit however my prices will be made quite clear before a deposit is requested. For guidance on prices click here: 'wedding guide/ menu'.

I'm super happy to chat about your ideas too - please just get in touch.
